STEP OUT IN STYLE WITH THE NEW BRITAX SMILE, GO AND GO NEXT PUSHCHAIRS

Britax, leaders in child safety, is announcing the launch of three new pushchairs into its stylish range of wheeled goods. The sleek yet practical BRITAX SMILE is the perfect every day pushchair for busy parents, whilst the BRITAX GO and BRITAX GO NEXT are premium pushchairs for parents looking for something stylish for the street. Designed with busy, modern families in mind, these cleverly crafted strollers provide parents with the freedom to look and feel great whilst having a practical pushchair to support them on the move.

BRITAX SMILE – a little extra for every day

The BRITAX SMILE is a pushchair designed for parents who are looking for more than just a lightweight stroller. The integrated Click & Go® adaptors mean the stroller can be easily used as a travel system with an infant carrier from birth and then to approx. 3 years old.

The BRITAX SMILE also features a large shopping basket that can carry a mountain of shopping or all the toys children can’t do without. Three reflective stripes on the chassis ensure the stroller can be easily seen, giving parents the freedom to take a safe stroll with their little ones in lowlight conditions. What’s more, the ventilation window in the hood will help keep children comfortable on warm and sunny days.

With the versatile BRITAX SMILE, parents have greater freedom to enjoy family life without limits.

In the second half of 2015, an electronic brake will be added to the BRITAX SMILE as an additional, safety feature. This brake system is designed to automatically engage if a pushchair continues to move without someone controlling the handle. This innovation has been specifically designed to prevent pushchairs from rolling away without anyone in control. This prototype concept was displayed and demonstrated at the Britax stand at this year’s Kind and Jugend Fair in Köln.

BRITAX GO and GO NEXT – the pushchair that reads your mind

With the BRITAX GO and GO NEXT, form and function sit hand in hand. Parents shouldn’t have to choose between style and practicality, so Britax has channeled its expert parenting knowledge into launching two innovative pushchairs designed to give style-conscious parents a stroller they can be proud of when they step out with their little ones. These Scandinavian designed all-in-one pushchairs are easy to adjust and simple to fold. The features are designed to ‘read parents’ minds’ for ease of use and include:

  • A convenient one-pull fold in either direction – whether the seat unit is forward or parent facing making it easy to collapse and transport
  • A pushchair that grows with your child – using the infant carrier from birth - whilst the main seat unit will carry children up to 17 kg or approximately 3 years old
  •  The specially designed ergonomic wheels are perfect for a wide variety of terrain from pavements to bumpy country paths.

These pushchairs allow a high infant carrier position so a baby is closer to his/her parent and a low seat unit position so that older children can easily climb in or out without assistance.

The 3M ScotchliteTM reflective stripes for visibility in low light provide a further thoughtful design to help parents get out and about safely with their little ones in difficult weather or low visibility conditions. Smart accessories also include a load tray and nursery bag all created with the intention of making parents’ journeys even easier.
