Aesthetics combined with intuitive functionality
Back in 2012, the first TRIFIX model impressed the expert jury of the red dot design awards. The seat was presented with an award for its progressive industrial design. It is now being launched onto the market as the luxurious and unique THE BLACK EDITION. Julia Strunk dressed her award winning shell design in a carbon gloss look and a timeless quilted cotton design lovingly sewn by employees in Ulm. They are even assembled with white gloves. Every car seat is being delivered with a booklet that includes the handwritten signature of Julia Strunk and the seamstress who worked on the car seat which makes the TRIFIX THE BLACK EDITION even more personal for the consumer. This limited edition is a tribute to launch Britax’s new modern global logo and positioning which, is perfectly mirrored in the clean lines of the car seat.
“The minimalist forms of the TRIFIX are more than just aesthetic in nature: they help users overcome their fear of excessively technical products,” explains the designer. “The product and its form should be self-explanatory and evoke confidence. We therefore place a great deal of value on the combination of appearance and intuitive functionality”.
Pure elegance with easy installation
Thanks to its patented ISOFIX system and patented V-tether third anchorage point, the TRIFIX offers a particularly fast and safe installation.
Patented “SI Pads” are also integrated in the side wings offering extra energy absorption in a side impact. . At 10 kg, TRIFIX is also very light and is particularly easy to carry thanks to its ergonomic handles. Children are strapped in using the Britax 5-point safety harness with an extra-large seat, for growing children; stylish as well as comfortable.
The TRIFIX THE BLACK EDITION will be available across Europe, Middle East & Africa from selected retailers from October 2014 for a RRP of € 1,299.
